I have been able to refer clients to other reputable photographers when I couldn't help them.  I found a studio to rent when I needed somewhere to go. I love the community over competition attitude that this group offers, and I can't wait to actually meet people now that my kids are in school full time for the first time!!  

This is by far my favorite group!  It has brought me so many friends and such a feeling of community that I haven't been able to find or sustain elsewhere.  I love being able to refer people to photographers that I trust and respect, and I've loved using the adorable babies in the group as my little models!!  I've gotten so much from people in the group (physical items as well as emotional support, knowledge, and referrals) that it's hard to imagine my life without it now!

This group has been so helpful in so many ways! From asking questions to bouncing ideas off each other to making some really great friends along the way and meeting other creatives at the events, this is one of my favorite groups of all time!

After relocating it was really nice to get to know some photographers here in Houston. I had such amazing photographer friends in Belgium and I missed them a lot. Isabel and Shary you both were so welcoming and I enjoyed every meeting with you guys. I love the support we give each other in, sometimes, the very lonely world of photography. I sure hope to meet many more this year. I loved the way we support photographers who were dealing with personal problems and we stick together to help. It teared me up on many occasions to see the respect and love for each other. Even if we don’t know them personally. Thanks again for letting me be part of this community. ❤️

I don’t even know where to begin! This group truly has helped me in so many ways and I can honestly say that I probably wouldn’t be in business if it wasn’t for this group that welcomed me in - I think I would’ve given up by now...and lost my sanity along the way. As a new mom moving to a big, new city, fellow moms in this group offered up coffee and play dates. As an entrepreneur trying to connect in a place where I knew not one person, ladies in this group helped guide me with establishing myself in a new market. And as a woman, wanting to connect with other women that shared the same passion as I do, so many of you opened your doors and invited our community in for educational potluck lunches. Some of us have even shared living spaces on some fantastically coordinated CFPH retreats. I can’t say enough amazing things about this group and I’m so thankful to Isabel Shaw (fellow RGVer that let me creep in before my big move to HTX), Shary GP and Marie Pena-Paugh - you ladies aren’t thanked enough. You guys run a spectacular group and I’m grateful to be a small part of it. Xo ❤️
